Raising the Bar: A Landmark Year in Dry Docking

In 2024, our technical and operational teams achieved an extraordinary milestone: completing 39 dry dockings across our LR2, MR, and Handymax fleets. This ambitious schedule also included the successful completion of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd special surveys for our STI fleet and third-party managed vessels, marking a year of outstanding execution and teamwork.

The project spanned shipyards across multiple regions, requiring seamless coordination between time zones, cultures, and operational requirements. Each dry docking demanded months of preparation, from securing dock space and coordinating specialist contractors to arranging delivery of critical spare parts and overseeing complex engineering work. Our teams worked closely with trusted local partners to ensure that every stage — from hull inspections to machinery overhauls — met rigorous safety, quality, and compliance standards.

Behind the scenes, our technical management team played a pivotal role, overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution to the smallest detail.
