The Master shall ensure safe navigation, the safety and security of the ship, her crew, the cargo and the environment.
The Master shall ensure to maintain and operate the vessel in accordance with flag state and international regulations, industry best practices and our Safety Management System (SMS). The Master shall take all necessary steps to prevent incidents affecting the ship, crew, cargo and the environment.
The Master is our highest representative onboard and shall promote our company’s interests in a respectful manner.
The job description is valid from the moment the Master accepts responsibility from and reliefs the previous Master until handing it over to the next Master.

The Master is responsible for the safe navigation of the vessel. In addition to the mandatory duty of taking charge of the navigation of the vessel during any emergency and special or critical operations, performs responsibilities in line with company SMS

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- to have minimum 2 yeas of actual seagoing experience in rank of Master onboard oil/chem tanker
- Multinational crew experience
